He is a second-generation Fujianese-American artist whose practice examines labor, inheritance, and the body through sculpture, performance, and site-specific interventions.
He is an alumnus of the Ox-Bow School of Art and holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. His work has been exhibited at the RISD Museum (Providence, RI), O’Flaherty Gallery (New York, NY), A Space (Brooklyn, NY), and Clare Gallery (Hartford, CT). He was awarded the Sandy Chase Scholarship for emerging young artists and has been an Artist-in-Residence at the New York Academy and the Textile Arts Center.
